The Story Begins

Jack Cason
Jack Cason moved from his native Oklahoma to Las Vegas in the early 1950s and along with his brother Pete and business partner Carl Bailey formed Saveway Super Service. The three of them were able to start their business by opening a Phillips 66 gas station on the Las Vegas Strip. The trio parlayed their one gas station into what is now known as ROC, which eventually expanded to a chain of convenience stores and gas stations supported by a strategic wholesale operation.

Decades of Service Station growth put Rebel Oil and Phillips 66 on the map in Southern Nevada.

Rebel purchases ownership of preexisting Phillips 66 Fuel Terminal.

Rebel Oil Purchase 76 Bulk Plant in Tonopah, NV.

1994Plant Acquisition
Kingman based C.S. Grigg & Sons, sells their family owned business to Rebel Oil Company.

2015Divestment
Rebel Oil sells 55 retail Rebel C-Stores and focuses on wholesale growth.

2018Plant Acquisition
Rebel purchases the old Goodspeed facility located in Hesperia, CA.

2020Arizona Distribution Expansion
Rebel Acquires Texmo Oil Company based in Arizona.

2021New Facilities in Northern Nevada
Rebel expands its footprint in Northern Nevada with operations in Elko, Carlin and Dunphy.

Our new name is ROC. This is a new, modern and upgraded Rebel Oil Company with our core company values and principles adapted to meet the modern needs of our wholesale customers.

ROC upgrades Las Vegas Terminal for increased loading capacity, bio fuel blending and environmental compliance.
