Biodiesel is made from feedstocks such as recycled cooking oil, waste animal fats, and vegetable oils. Biodiesel helps to reduce tailpipe emissions, including particulate matter, and carbon monoxide and total hydrocarbons. Blends up to B20 require little to no vehicle infrastructure alterations. ROC offers various Biodiesel blends such as B5 or B20, even blending the Biodiesel with Renewable Diesel!

Renewable Diesel is made from the same type of feedstocks as Biodiesel but has a different chemical process. It is molecularly identical to petroleum-based diesel, meeting ASTM D975 standards. Renewable Diesel is considered a “drop-in” fuel, making it fully compatible with existing diesel fuel vehicles and fueling infrastructure, with no modifications necessary. Ethanol, a renewable fuel, has been blended in gasoline for years, helping to reduce vehicle emissions, improve air quality, increase U.S. energy independence, lower consumer fuel prices, and provide augmented markets for American farmers. Propane, sometimes referred to as liquified petroleum gas (LPG), is an abundant, affordable, reliable, and clean-burning byproduct of domestic natural gas processing.
