David Ryan
Chief Financial Officer
David Ryan joined ROC in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. After starting his career at a Big 6 accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand, now known as PWC, he joined one of his clients – a family-owned petroleum distributor, terminal operator, and convenience retailer in Massachusetts. During a nearly 30-year tenure there he assisted the family in growing the business from a small regional heating oil distributor to a prominent pipeline supplied terminal operator, multi-branded gasoline marketer, commercial fuels distributor and convenience retailer with a territory ranging from Maine to New Jersey. David grew with the Company, transitioning from Controller to Director of Retail Operations, Director of Wholesale Operations and ultimately to Chief Operating Officer.
David played a major role in successfully preparing this business for a bifurcated sale utilizing a prominent investment bank in 2017. Following that sale, he headed west to join ROC to continue doing what he loves, assisting a legacy energy marketer to formulate and execute the company’s strategic plan for growth and continued success.
